The stupid thing these days, is part of deprogramming a JW is teaching them what they are meant to believe in order to demontrate why the JWs cannot possibly be gods one true religion!
Lol! If I had a nickel.....
anyone have any ideas about this issue?.
is it really going to be that hard to ram this change down people's throats that they need to get all the elders all prepared and stuff?.

according to 2 reports thus far from 2012 annual meeting, this is new light.
some may need more time and verification to post an opinion on this, but i plan on showing the scriptural fallacies of this "new light".

This is pathetic! I am waiting to see what Cedars comes up with because this can be used to sink the witnesses... At least for those who want to help their loved ones out... My brain is not clicking just yet....
sorry for the wait guys.... .
part one.
moorse had the opening comments talked about historic annual meetings.. .
Thanks lostinthought!
So would this be THE big change in doctrine that we had heard rumored was coming this year? The one that they were going to have to prep the elders for in the special KMS at the end of the year?
You know it will piss off all 12,000 anointed friends! Now their anointed status really mean nothing in the "fleshly" part of Jehovah's organization.
i'm dating a jw.
i have asked him several questions that would be categorized as "thinking" questions and i knew he'd have a tough time finding answers.
whenever i wouldn't get an answer to 3-5, i was moving on to the next 3-5. over a year's time, just about all have gone unanswered... just dropped... non-existent at this point.
For me, anytime I was presented with something damning, I dismissed it. First I minimized any uncomfortable questions, then I changed my thinking to remind myself why this IS the truth. For a while I wasn't honest with myself.
Example: One person ask me why Deuteronomy 18:20-22 does not apply when JW's have spoken in Jehovah's name but been wrong. My thinking went to "What is this persons motive? Are they doing what Jesus requires of them, such as preaching the word of God? Can they truly help me gain everlasting life?" etc. Every JW has good thought stopping techniques. In a JW's mind, that gives the inquirer no credibility, so everything you say is moot, no matter how sensible.

Nope. Anyway, I'm researching the current understanding as we speak.
This can be good because we can talk to ones and ask them to prove from Bible who is the F&DS (only if they have no heard the new light). And make them prove it and admit this is what Jehovah is saying... Then allow them to wait for new light... But it only has a small window of time to work.
theres a story in the ny daily news today that says this jw is homeless and was denied shelter after having a brief conversation with the woman who helped him with his application after he mentioned he was a jw.
her reasoning of why she denied his application was that she thought he would go door to door in the 45-unit facility!
i myself find that hilarious, he just mightve done that to get his time in!
He is being tested. No one will be tested beyone what they can bear. So obviously, he can handle it if Jehovah is allowing it, right?

45 “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so. 47 Truly I say to YOU, He will appoint him over all his belongings.
Nope. It's wonderful new light! Now God has clarified the matter! All you apostates had to do was wait on Jehovah!
But seriously, now they have to tackle and move around so much important doctrine, they will have to do even more aggressive scriptural origami.
TS, I could see Morris doing that and sometimes they use Branch Committee members. I could see Perla, Breaux, Walls and Schilling giving those discourses...
